Root-proof waterproofing systems
Planting boxes enable an intensive greening of all areas and an individual, natural design of vegetation. They are, however, subjected to extreme conditions. Temperature differences and the contraction and expansion caused by heat quickly lead to stress cracks and weak points that can be attacked by roots, resulting in leaky concrete boxes. Crack-bridging and root-proof waterproofing is therefore absolutely essential.
Only a liquid applied waterproofing system enables you to create a homogeneous, seamless surface inside the box. Fleece-reinforced KEMPEROL offers sustainable, permanently elastic and crack bridging waterproofing and is also ideal for intricate substrate shapes. Edges and corners can be securely waterproofed, and even the integration of drainage pipes is effortless.
The liquid applied protective coating KEMPEROL is root proof – and has been tested to guidelines of the Research Institute for Landscape Development and Landscape Building (FLL). It protects concrete reliably. A metal cover is actually no longer required, as KEMPEROL is UV and weather resistant. The cover is only used as mechanical protection. The raised drainage layer on the sides guarantees good aeration and excellent drainage of any excess water.
